When the earth tilts more toward the sun, it has completed its cycle bringing about new life and energy. Even though the New Year's is celebrated in the winter at the beginning of January, spring is officially when the New Year starts according to nature. Therefore, a new year is a time of change, rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and re-growth for plants, animals and human souls.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." [Romans 12:2 KJV]

A New Year can be looked at as a metaphor for new life and better times. A fresh new start when people start to make resolutions or set goals to better their lives such as getting rid of bad habits and improving their lives mentally, spiritually, physically, financially or socially.

Spiritual Meaning of Happy New Year! Some people have resolutions to eat healthy, lose weight and get fit, find their soul mate, get engaged, get married, have kids, get a better job, save money, get out of debt, start a business, get better educated, stop smoking, stop drinking, overcome addiction, eat healthier, become more organized, manage time better, settle down, volunteer, give more to charities, get closer to God, join the church, etc.

However, many of the resolutions never get fulfilled because they do not have a spiritual based reason inspiring them. Therefore, since the reason is not from the heart, the energy or faith behind it is weak and fizzles out without success.

Spiritually, "Happy New Year" means that the time is right to take on a new attitude. You are ready to grow to higher levels of spiritual understanding of God. You are ready to cleanse and clear everything from you heart and soul that is interfering with you hearing divine spirit guiding you to your destiny, calling and God's will for your life.

It is a time for renewing your mind and ridding your soul of all beliefs and habits that are limiting or blocking the joy that is missing from your life. It is the most spiritual and opportune time to cleanse and clear your soul and to increase your faith or relationship with God.

A New Year is a time when the energy from the sun energizes human souls and they began to spiritually awaken by a higher vibration frequency. It is also a time for spiritual transformation when the energy from the sun increases the awareness and consciousness of humans. If the energy is channeled right, it can cause a powerful life transformation and abundantly blessed year. Are you ready to renew your mind and transform your life?
