Has your spiritual identity been stolen? The majority of the people in the world have lost their true identity, meaning they do not know who they are. They are under the illusion and identify self and its existence with the physical body as the source of existence. Seeing yourself as the body has to do with your Ego and its limited and carnal point of view. You are not your body or a human being; you are a spiritual being living within the body.  

"The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you-they are full of the Spirit and life." [John 6:63] 

When your view of reality is at a lower level of consciousness you have very little spiritual awareness and do not realize that you are not the body. Little do you know that when you identify with the body as being who you are, it gives you a false sense of reality and blocks your connection with God and a most abundantly blessed and fulfilling life. At this level of consciousness, spiritual energy or karma creates and attracts negativity. Therefore, you experience more mental, emotional, physical or financial turbulence because lower levels of consciousness lowers the power of the life enriching energy in you. 

In truth, we are all first and foremost a spirit or spiritual being in a body, having a human experience on the planet earth. We are the experience of God manifested in human form. The spirit of God is in you; Jesus said, "I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you...also the Kingdom of God is in you." Therefore, you already possess God’s greatness for the creation of greatness in your life and the life of others. 

When you have awakened to the spiritual truth about whom you are and you "know thyself," you have surrendered or let go of being controlled and guided by the ego. You know that you are one with God and possess God-like power, wisdom and ability. You are free of the fear and limitations of the world and are in tune with the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, protect, inspire, empower and enrich you.  

The same spiritual energy and intelligence that powers the entire universe also powers you. The energy is known as God-energy or higher intelligence and the God energy is in you. When you identify with the spiritual or God-self, you have all power and authority over all negativity. 

Not knowing the truth about which you are causes separation between you and God and this separation blocks or limits your energy (spiritual enlightenment and life wisdom) and causes an unfulfilling life.  Knowing the truth about which you are is the key to living a life of freedom, abundance, happiness, health, love, joy, bliss and ecstasy.
