The religious teachings of the Sadducees and Pharisees about God were not advocating divine potential or the Kingdom of God to the Jewish people for the purpose of attracting abundance in their life. Instead, these teachings were for the purpose of empowering the leaders and dis-empowering the people. They were for self-serving reasons; therefore, they lacked the power and wisdom of God.

The teachings were causing the people to literally experience a spiritual void in their understanding which was destroying their potential for freedom and attracting abundance in their life. Therefore, God sent Jesus to teach the way and the truth so it would liberate them from their religious beliefs and fear-based faith.

Jesus said, "The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." [John 10:10]

What Prevents Many People from Attracting Abundance in Life? When the teachings of God are taught solely from a religious perspective or what the Bible says without spiritual meaning, it limits your faith and limits your potential. In other words, it does not provide transformation and increase your understanding of the spiritual power and presence of God within you. Therefore, you are incapable of attracting abundance in your life at the level God has intended for you.

When your perspective of reality is not based in spiritual understanding, you are associated with the mindset or thinking of the world, also known as the Ego. Therefore, the Ego is the outside influence or voice in your head that is stealing, killing and destroying your faith or confidence in God's spiritual meaning. When you are in this mindset, your thoughts, choices and decisions are typically driven by lack of knowledge, fear, greed, selfishness, lust and predominate materialism; often times without being aware and conscious of it.

Without realizing it, you have given most of your power and authority over to your Ego and it is causing the emotional, physical or financial challenges you experience, rather than attracting abundance. Its objective is to keep you from believing that God is in you for the purpose of assisting you in attracting abundance, manifesting joy and a blessed and fulfilling life.

However, the life and teachings of Jesus, when interpreted in spiritual truth, is for the purpose of eliminating this false influence of the Ego. Furthermore, it is to bring you in alignment with your higher power for attracting abundance and the divine intelligence for preventing and overcoming challenges in life.
